I was born in Lafeyette, Louisiana and raised in Houston, Tx. In 2021 I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s in interior design.
I have always had a passion for design. My sophomore year of high school I enrolled in an intro to design course where they taught us the basics of modeling and material boards. I thoroughly enjoyed the computer programs, Chief Architect at the time, to the point I would come in during lunch or my off periods to “play” on the computer. Eventually my teacher allowed me to take a school laptop home with me where I spent a lot of time creating different types of spaces. It was at the end of that year that I knew I wanted to build a career out of design.
My favorite project would be the Galveston Behavioral Health Center. This project was challenging and encouraged me to dive deeper into the behavioral health industry. It was a fascinating project to work on and benefits the community.
I am a huge book worm!
